L’Oreal – La Roche-Posay elearning module
As an e-learning developer for L’Oreal, I designed an education module to promote their Anthelios sunscreen protection product. L’Oreal had high expectations for engagement, which challenged me to use interactive animations such as pop-ups, drag and drop, and click-to-go to increase engagement.
To aid product identification, I used a pop-up slide that turned a gray image into a colored one when clicked, helping users easily recognize the product they were viewing. I also implemented a drag and drop feature, which presented a challenge in placing multiple objects in the same spot. With the help of a tutorial video, I was able to customize object types and set rules for object actions during drag and drop interactions.
The successful implementation of these interactive features led to increased engagement with the module, ultimately resulting in greater promotion and sales of L’Oreal’s Anthelios sunscreen protection product.
Regarding the drag and drop, when I designed that slide, there was a challenge about how to drag the multiple objects and put them in the same spot. This video helped me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYyyXdVwCNM&t=305s
It looked like I could put multiple objects in a customized type and set up the action to this type. So when the drag and drop interaction ran, all the objects with the same type would follow the same rule.
